Meet Goldie Winston, IBCLC

Goldie is a Registered Nurse (RN) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with top-tier training. She earned her RN/BSN from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing and also studied at the University of Wisconsin.

Before becoming an IBCLC in 2019, Goldie worked extensively in NICU and postpartum nursing at major Atlanta hospitals. This hands-on hospital experience allows her to understand complex feeding challenges with both clinical skill and personal empathy.

How Her Journey Began

Goldie’s path to becoming a lactation consultant started after her first child was born in 2018. She faced latch difficulties and low milk supply, and her own IBCLC provided the guidance she needed to succeed. That experience inspired her to help other families by earning her certification.
